I will not rent, swap or sell personal information to other organisations for them to use in their own marketing activities.

The legal basis that I rely on for processing personal data will depend upon the circumstances in which it is being collected and used, but will in most cases fall into one of the following categories:

  • where consent has been provided to allow me to use your data in a certain way
  • where the processing is necessary to carry out for the performance of a contract
  • where the processing is necessary in order for me to comply with a legal obligation; or
  • where it is in my legitimate interests to perform my functions, for example, processing payments, providing treatment or sending administrative communications where my legitimate interest is to deliver services

The personal data I collect about you will include data relating to your name and address, email address and contact telephone numbers, and the health history of you/your animal.

This data will be securely stored for 7 years, and will only be used by myself for communication with you, and will be used as a record of you/your animal and any changes that may occur in their health, well being or performance. You may have access to it, and have the right to ask for it to be forgotten.

Should you have a complaint, you have the right to request contact details of the supervising authority/association in order to lodge this.

Information will only be shared with your animal's vet or other professionals as requested by you and your animal's vet.
